16 - The Boss
The importance of one's visibility on a building site

'Twas on the local building site,
Early on in June,
There was a sight for lady mice
That nearly made them swoon.
For standing on the scaffolding,
Attracting all their cheers,
There stood The Boss - he's the one
Who's got those high-viz ears.
It's easy working on the site.
You can make time to play
Because he can't creep up on you...
His ears give him away!
He can't wear all his safety gear,
And gives the reason that
He doesn't want his high-viz ears
Hidden by his hat.
